BAPTISM
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: “Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water and in the word.” Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 1213
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the first and third Sunday of the month at 11:30 AM. It may also be celebrated within Mass at the request of the family. Information concerning Pre-Jordan, which is preparation on the part of parents and godparents for baptism may be obtained at the Parish Office 610-688-1178. Other information (e.g., requirements for godparents, necessary paperwork, etc.), will also be explained at that time.
